The Russian Cultural Center “Our Texas” and Bellaire HS Guitar Program presents Flamenco Guitar Virtuoso, Grigory Goryachev

You are invited to an evening of live Flamenco and Spanish popular music performed on guitar by virtuoso Grigory Goryachev.   A native of St. Petersburg, Russia, guitarist Grigory Goryachev has performed throughout the world and has received wide international acclaim for his blinding virtuosity and extraordinary musical sensitivity. As a master of both flamenco and classical styles, he has created a new genre all his own and garnered praise from such guitar luminaries as Paco de Lucía, Christopher Parkening, and Eliot Fisk.  On this evening he will present works by Spanish flamenco composers, Sabicas, Paco de Lucia and others.  Mr. Goryachev will speak about the music, and his musical journey, during this concert in his native Russian.
