Ludmila Babaeva – a miniaturist – graduated from the Kholui Art School and has been employed by the Kholui lacquer miniature factory since 1977. Her lovely and delicate pieces reflect Russian folklore themes, fairytales and legends, and are as enchanting as the subject matter they depict.
